The Old Town School of Folk Music made a run for the Guinness Book of World Records this week, holding the world's largest music lesson in Welles Park. Guitar players of any level were invited to join in the lesson, leading up to the playing of two songs, "Jambalaya" and "This Land is Your Land." Unofficial total is 1377 guitar students which should easily break the current record of 536 people learning the harmonica in Switzerland.
