EACH ONE TEACH ONE-RECYCLING IS A FAMILY EXPERIENCE!

"I BELIEVE THE CHILDREN ARE OUR FUTURE, TEACH THEM WELL AND LET THEM LEAD THE WAY" Whitney Houston

Hey Kids,
Have you ever wondered what our world would look like if we did not recycle?

Below is a nasty place full of trash that could end up in your neighborhood.

You can help keep your neighborhood clean by throwing your trash in recycling bins.
All you have to do is:
  • seperate paper, plastic and glass
  • Especially, your paper so we can help save as many trees as possible.
  • Check the number on the lable of each item to see which bin it belongs in
  • when you and an adult finish sorting your items place the bins at your curve on trash day.
To shw you how it's done lets listen to a funky jam on recycling

I Likel To A Recycle

IMAGINE HOW MANY TREES COULD BE SAVED EACH YEAR IF EVERY COMPANY AND RESIDENTIAL HOUSEHOLD GREEN-LIGHTED RECYCLING.

ACORDING TO RECYCLING REVOLUTION:

  • To produce each week's Sunday newspapers, 500,000 trees must be cut down. WHOA!!!!! that's alot of trees!
  • Recycling a single run of the Sunday New York Times would save 75,000 trees. COOL!
  • If every American recycled just one of their newspapers, we would save about 25,000,000 trees a year.
  • If you had a 15-year-old tree and made it into paper grocery bags, you'd get about 700 of them. A busy supermarket could use all of them in under an hour! This means in one year, one supermarket can go through over 6 million paper bags! Imagine how many supermarkets there are just in the United States!!!

Why Should YOU Recycle?

Recycling is the process of taking a product at the end of its useful life and using all or part of it to make another product. The internationally recognized symbol for recycling includes three arrows moving in a triangle. Each arrow represents a different part of the recycling process, from collection to re-manufacture to resale. (Earth911.com)
