This Virgin Atlantic 747 was photographed back in Grenada. The flight usually continues on to either Barbados, or to Tobago then heads off to London Gatwick. I'd been taking photographs of these planes for more than a year while I was back on SGU's True Blue Campus, Grenada. On study breaks every Thursday evening at 6:00pm, I'd head outside of our library, which stood directly across the bay from the airport and we'd get a nice, good look at all the planes landing and taking off. Lots of folks would come out to watch the sunset and go "plane-watching" I finally got to ride one when I left Trinidad to come to the UK to do my clinical rotations. Caught the plane in Tobago - when i asked the ticket agent if the plane would be on time at around 4:40pm or so, she said it would be delayed in Grenada for approx one hour. I smiled, because I knew my plane would be coming for me soon.

I had it planned well ahead, ever since the flight to Grenada. But the tourist insisted on sitting by the door, so I had to forget what I had planned for days. But still, I got this...thru the window, squeezing behind her head. I should have attached my polarizer...
