in the grass
I was tired of walking in my cheap shoes! Yes, the grass is so green you know it is astro-turf! Hey high dollar hotel: Where is the football? Hehe. I guess i was sidelined here! There is a peculiar and unbalanced mix of high dollar, high end, high class there. Then there is plenty (In excess!) Of low end, cheap, sleazy sites and people. Seemed no matter how beautiful something was on the outside, look a little closer and behind the walls and it is clear why they call it sin city. Yes, what is in vegas should stay there and not come to san antonio! (I didn't get to see very much...So i can't judge the city as a whole - just the tourist crap. I must say, the people were very nice - locals and tourists alike.)
Goofy-as-heck Cinderella carriages with tired, overheated horses and wilted flowers stuck on.
They look like cheap figurines you'd see in a dollar store.
