I'm ready to check in now, please. A couple of years ago I sketched out this conceptual retreat center as a sliding scale alternative retreat for mothers (and families). Coming out of the mental health facility worse off than I went IN three years ago made me realize that today's mamas need options. That checking yourself in when you can't cope anymore isn't always necissarily the best for you, or for your family. It's a melancholy truth that it's not an option for me now.
