(At the entrance of the hotel is the Rural Willys that former President Juscelino Kubitschek used to scroll through the construction of the Brasilia. The hotel is located 15 minutes from the Esplanade of Ministries, and 15 minutes walk from the Alvorada Palace). Brasilia is a monumental city, equally bizarre. I do not know if I was actually in a city or in a huge farm. Vast fields of grass... endless! And I asked to myself: who and how someone can take care of all these fields of grass? The huge Parque do Flamengo and the majestic lawns of the Maracana Stadium, was enough to impress me, and they were forgotten as soon as I start walking across the lawns of Brasilia. Trees, trees and more trees in everywhere and nobody in the streets. There are no streets, there are no sidewalks only high-speed avenues. I sat on the grass and watched the passing cars as if they were ants. I wanted to take a Coke, but there is no bar, there is no a conventional trade. I asked a guy about my Coke and he answers me I can only find it at the Mall or at the CJ-6 28th Court North Wing, or in another block. "What block? If I see only “bush” and cars? Finally, I saw the Mall... I had to walk three miles in the sun, I thought I was walking on the beaches of Jericoacoara (CE). There is no shade, no marquee, just the horizon, a horizon so scary that gets the impression that the hand of God appears any time from heaven and will take you to the final judging. Arriving at the Mall... the wanting to take Coca-Cola, had just spent. A great sadness came over me and I wanted to disappear... turn to dust. I was disturbed, too upset and I think I'm still disturbed. However, I must confess I left my soul and my heart in Brasilia, but I want them back: immediately. Ah! Brasilia is the only well-regarded contemporary world Heritage Site. So… It had to be! Clarice Lispector said: "Brasilia is built on the horizon. Brasilia is artificial. As artificial as it should have been when the world was created. Wh

Udaipur, Rajasthan, India The Taj Lake Palace located in the middle of Lake Pichola is a dream of white marble and mosaic. It was built in 1746 by Maharana Jagat Singh II, 62nd successor to the royal dynasty of Mewar – believed to be the descendants of the Sun God. The Taj Lake Palace appears to be floating in the lake. Set against the backdrop of the majestic Aravalli Mountains, the Taj Lake Palace spreads across a four-acre island.
