Hi and Welcome from Wendy Craig!

I have been collecting genuine sea glass for some time now, primarily on the New Jersey Shore as a pastime while my husband exercises our Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. This glass is naturally pitted and frosted by the ocean. Isn't Mother Nature wonderful? Sea glass pieces are such gems and I do pride myself in my collection from around the world.

Special orders are encouraged, but are of course subject to availability of stock. See the design but not the color? Something special in mind? Ask! Shipping is always free in the U.S. Unfortunately due to increases in international shipping costs I do need to charge shipping for out of the country.

What is Sea Glass?

Sea Glass pieces are frosty, sparkling gems that are naturally tumbled by the sea, sand and time. Each has a unique shape just like a snowflake does. These glass “shards” originate from broken bottles and tableware found as a result of eroded dump sites, natural disasters, and (my favorite) shipwrecks. Yo, Ho, Ho, and a bottle of Rum!

A really good piece of Sea Glass is at least 50 years old. It takes that long to tumble in the surf and sand and become pitted by mother nature. They are a perfect example of our human discarded “rubbish” turned into something beautiful by the ocean.

The pieces you find in my store are hand collected from the sea shore, by me or someone I know personally. With the wonderful recycling we do now, they will not be found forever.

I am a proud member of the North American Sea Glass Association, preserving these gems and heirlooms for your family.
