Found this Old Milwaukee can just lying beside this old corn crib. The oddity is that there was no litter anywhere in this old ghost town on the New River. Except this can. Odder still is that this can must have been lying there for 35 years or more. When did they stop using steel cans? Removable tabs were abandoned in the '80s. And if the pop top was not a new feature, would they still have made such a hullabaloo on the label? I googled the pop top, and Old Milwaukee introduced it in 1959. Apparently, the State Park staff considered it a part of the history of this cool place and left it lying in the grass.
