Development History
This 2D Spine Analysis (2dSpAn) software is being developed as an opensource collaboration between Jadavpur University, India, Nencki
Institute of Experimental Biology, Poland and University of Warsaw, Poland. Major components of this project are led by three
investigators from the three institutes:

The project was initiated in Nov-Dec.2012, during the EMMA post-doctoral visit of Dr. Basu to the laboratories of Dr. Plewczynski and
Dr. Wlodarczyk, and got momentum during his two subsequent visits in June-Aug 2013 and June-Aug 2014.

Technical Insight
2dSpAn is a cross-platform utility and is primarily developed using the C++ libraries of the Qt SDK.
