Our Churches

Not only are our church buildings all different, but each church community has its own character and style of worship. Every church is welcoming to those who are either visiting or looking for a church family. If you would like to know more about each church, please contact Jules Gadsby, the Priest-in-charge. 
  • All Saints' Church in Upper Bucklebury seats 150 and is a Colt building dedicated in 1962,extended in 1977 and again in 1988 with a new brick-built worship area.
  • All Saints' has a more contemporary style of worship, with a more informal feel to the service. 
  • A Sunday School for 3-11s is available.

  • St Mary's Church in Bucklebury Village seats 200 and is a Grade 1 Listed building with some parts dating back to the 11th century and a chancel added in the 17th to 18th century.
  • The service at St Mary's is more traditional, and we use Common Worship. 
  • There is a weekly 8am Book of Common Prayer Holy Communion service (except 4th Sunday of the month when this held in St Mary, Marlston)
  • Unfortunately, there is no Sunday School provision at the moment.

  • St Denys' Church in Stanford Dingley seats 120 and is a Grade 1 Listed pre-Norman building, restored in late 19th century. Conservation work on medieval wall paintings was completed in early 2008.
  • The services at St Denys' are more traditional, including some Book of Common Prayer Morning Prayer and Choral Evensong.

  • St Andrew's Church in Bradfield Village seats 300 and is a Grade 2* Listed building, part dating from the 14th century and redesigned and enlarged by Sir George Gilbert Scott in 1847.
  •  Postcode: RG7 6BY
         St Andrew's is no longer being used by the parish. 
          A final service of thanksgiving took place on 30th November 2014.

  • St Peter's Church in Southend Bradfield seats 100 and is a Colt building opened in 1965 with subsequent portacabin extensions.
  • St Peter's has a more contemporary form of service
  • There is Sunday School provision for 3-11s and Pathfinders for 11-14s. 
  • A new parish church - St John's - is planned on the site of the current St Peter's church.  More information on Bradfield churches can be seen at:  http://www.bradfieldchurch.org.uk/

  • St Mary, Marlston is in Marlston village next to Brockhurst and Marlston School. It seats 120 and is a Grade 2 Listed building, dating back to the 13th century. It is used mainly by Brockhurst and Marlston House Schools.
  • There is an 8am Book of Common Prayer Holy Communion service held on the 4th Sunday of every month (except in July), and on Easter Day and Christmas Day.
