I am a Senior Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Computer Vision and Machine Learning at the University of Surrey. I received my PhD in Computer Vision in May 2014 from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) in Spain. After that, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at a few academic institutes including Computer Vision Center, LTCI, CNRS, Télécom ParisTech, Indian Statistical Institute. I was a Marie-Curie Fellow within the P-SPHERE project (grant agreement: 665919) at the Computer Vision Center in Barcelona from April 2017 to July 2019. From August 2019 to March 2022, I was a member of the Computer Science department of the University of Exeter.

My main research interest includes computer vision and machine learning. In particular, I work on deep multi-modal embedding, learning from fewer labels, structured representation learning etc for solving various computer vision tasks.
