This is a brand new reproduction mechanical 20" speedometer. It includes everything you need, speedometer head, driver cable and mounting bracket. Super easy to install. Works on 20" wheel bicycles including Schwinn Stingrays and any other brand 20" wheel bicycle. Please note the cable is about 28" long and the cable will not be long enough for the chopper or the brand new OCC Stingray bicycle. But will fit the older Schwinn Stingrays and all other makes and models with 20" front wheels. If you have a chopper bicycle or a bicycle with a extended fork, measure from the bottom of the handlebars to the front axle and make sure it's not any longer then 28". The 1952 Humber; customised bicycle
The Humber bicycle. Made 1952, it says on the head badge "by appointment to the late king George 5th" This came to me as a bare frame around which I built a 5 speed racing bike. Something was never right about it; the frame want to go back to its three speed roots... It whispered to me from its lofty place in the garage... I remembered the fun I had back in the 70's when we built our own bikes because we could not afford a factory built Chopper. Getting wheels from e-bay, Maltese cross rear light from Amsterdam and other Schwalbe Marathon Cream tyres from e-bay specialist bicycle shops; Front lamp dynamo and wartime blackout crossbar shifter from a box of bits in my garage (got to love it) Brooks B135 seat from Fat Birds Don't Fly, retro rubber handle grips from France, mudguards from a dumped bicycle, along with the levers and brakes. This bicycle is the full incarnation of my mid-life crisis, an escape to being a big kid on a bike again.
