Made by most famous brands OEM manufacturer, the same best quality,+ insurance purchased by manufacturer Cabon filber made by Japan, Toray . one year USA warranty Apachepro is providing comfort and control to leader with high performance material property, precise carbon prepreg in lamination and molding. The process is using EPS mandrel to get perfectly layup surface for each carbon layer. l You could not find any local fiber wrinkle and avoid in each layer. The outer layer takes advantage of 3K carbon weave and Ti mesh with sanding painting to provide very nice out looking and high frication resistibility. l The carbon fiber research and development engineers have taken the best designs for the handlebar to be qualified by CEN14766:2005.CEN14766:2005 4.7.6.4 and CEN14766:2005 4.7.7 testing standard. 2007 Ibis Silk Carbon
2007 Ibis Silk Carbon
2007 Ibis Silk Carbon Yay! another Ibis, my 4th, but my first from the "new" Ibis and first (full) carbon bike since I sold my Giant TCR a few years ago. Purchased in 2010 for $800 Frame/fork/headset/seatpost/stem. in incredibly good condition. maybe it was used as a wall hanging, because it definitely hadn't seen much road. When I lifted this out of the box, it was just freakishly light, something like 850 grams, and this is a 58. So it comes out to less than $1 per gram. The stock 58 was almost a perfect fit, but the headtube at 19cm was way too tall for me. I had to use a -17 stem to make it fit. I always thought I was a normally proportioned person, but after this bike and after getting my DeSalvo fitted, I realized that I've got the legs of someone 5'8' and the arms of someone 6'2". I'm vaguely orangutan-esque. So the specs are: a mix of Chorus & Centaur with an FSA SLK crank. Ritchey WCS classic bar, the aforementioned -17 ritchey wcs stem (12cm), the easton EC90 seatpost that was included and I added my broken-in, butt-shaped Arione on top. The wheels are actually Eurus that I put on after the picture was taken. With that setup, the bike is about 16lbs. The bike rides pretty well, it's not a super sloping compact like the TCR was, so I don't feel like I riding an overgrown BMX bike. I like. (and i'm still on the lookout for a hakkalugi)
