Not quite sure wether to call this a light table or box, I guess either would fit. This is with flashes inside, but the same setup works with continuous CFL lamps and they are what I originally put it together for. This overhead viewpoint hopefully shows how it works. To the left is the table part and when in use, has a sheet of glass on top. The box on the right is stood on end and gives the height for the background paper. This can be seen pulled out of the way on the far right and is a strip of fax paper. The 3 flashes are Neewer SF-01 Slave flashes, the centre one, which is upside down, is fitted with a Blazzeo SLT-4 radio trigger to fire it, while the other pair are activated by their built in slave sensors. For some reason, I couldnt get them to slave to my point and shoot camera today, must have a setting wrong somewhere, but probably a good thing, as there would be a lot of light bouncing around in these boxes :)

This little guy was chillin' inside my spool of CDs, in between the lid and the CDs themselves. I think his presence dates back to VBS week (in June). And as I type this description, tonight's CD project is now complete. Unfortunately, I feel as though I've crossed off only about 20% of the items on my task list, to finish before leaving the state on Thursday morning. And I don't know that the presence of a plastic fish has helped my productivity any. But hey, at least he helped me with the photo-a-day challenge. (One thing I love about this glass table: In some places you see a reflection, and in others you see through the glass to the rattan base below. Then, in very special places, it is a combination of both.)
