- Wheel alignment is part of standard automobile maintenance that consists of adjusting the angles of the wheels so that they are set to the car maker's specification.
- The adjustment of various components to meet predetermined specifications for camber, caster, toe and ride height.
- Aligning a vehicle's wheels, by checking and, if necessary, resetting front and/or rear suspension and steering angles to the manufacturer's specifications. Uneven tire wear or steering that pulls can indicate a need to have the wheel alignment checked or adjusted.

4 wheel alignment equipment - Smart String
Smart String 4 Wheel Toe Alignment System
SmartStrings 4 Wheel Toe Alignment System Best and most universal way to quickly perform accurate four-wheel alignments on virtually any car anywhere. Why SmartStrings? The number one design premise was to allow all four wheels to be aligned with one simple, accurate, portable and affordable tool. Just so you know, some of the fastest cars in the world - including Indy style cars, 200 mph road racing cars and NASCARs are aligned with strings (or wire in some cases). As with the SmartCamber gauge, SmartStrings were designed to be used on as wide a variety of cars as possible; it's telescoping design in all three planes assures that. The attaching or hooking features on the Attaching Arms have also been carefully thought out to be as versatile as possible. Unlike nearly all other toe measuring gauges on the market today, SmartStrings allow you to simultaneously align and "square" the car, that is, insure that the rear axle is running true and parallel to the front axle. Also, since the strings attach to the car, they move with the car so when adjustments are made, the vehicle can be rolled to settle the settings without the worry or bother of the gauge having to be recalibrated. Since you can adjust all four wheels relative to one another, you can set the car up however you like, or however track conditions require. Properly installed, the parallel strings form a perfect parallelogram around the car's own centerline! Combined with the SmartCamber camber/caster tool, you can perform a full four-wheel alignment and know for yourself that the numbers are correct and to your individual needs or liking.

Equipment to attach a Rosco sample filter to an SB-600 flash
I wanted to attach filters from a free Rosco sample filter swatch book to my SB-600 Speedlight flash. Here are the equipment I used.
I already had adhesive velcro on the sides of my flash unit for attaching a small MircoApollo soft box. The tape is vapor barrier tape used on construction sites. I think any clear sticky tape will do, but this material is very durable.

SmartCamber Gauge Easy to Use on Any Surface Digital Caster/Camber Gauge The SmartCamber Gaugecombines the digital Smart Tool module with a precision laser cut aluminum frame. Unlike subjective bubbles, lines or expensive electronics, Smart Camber provides highly accurate, repeatable camber and caster measurements in the home, shop or at the track. Designed to maximize its measuring potential over a wide variety of wheel and tire combinations, the tool allows accurate measuring regardless of where the vehicle is or what surface the vehicle is on. With the push of a button it automatically compensates for non-level floors so it can be used at home, at the track... even on a trailer with complete confidence. The Smart Tool digital display takes all of the guess work out of measuring. Features and Uses: * Use on 5" to 22" diameter wheels * Removable digital modules makes it two tools in one. Use the module to measure: drive shaft angles, fabrication, fixture and body work, wing angles * Camber can be measured on non-flat surfaces (garage floors, parking lots, and even on a trailer * Requires no additional attachments to wheel or hub. Simply hold the tool against the wheel or use the Hands Free adapter to hold the tool on the wheel. Combined with the SmartStrings 4 Wheel Toe Alignment System, you can perform a full four-wheel alignment and know for yourself that the numbers are correct and to your individual needs or liking.
