MD Governor Larry Hogan sent a letter on August 1, 2017 to Department of Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao expressing his frustration with the FAA's failure to address the adverse impacts to Marylanders caused by new flight paths and procedures at DCA and BWI airports.

We are very grateful to Governor Hogan for maintaining pressure on the FAA to take action!

In addition, Martin Di Caro of WAMU 88.5 American University Radio wrote the following news article on Governor Hogan's August 1st letter and included quotes from one of our Coalition members:  Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan Demands Answers On Airport Noise Complaints (Aug. 2, 2017, WAMU 88.5 American University Radio).

Lastly, on August 3, 2017 at 9:15 AM EST, Fox 5 DC News aired a segment on television about the airplane noise & pollution issues facing Montgomery County residents and also interviewed one of our Coalition members.

Attached below is the August 1st letter.  This letter is also available under "Elected Officials Letters" on the Downloads and Templates tab.
