Maryland State Delegates Marc Korman, Susan Lee, William Frick, and Ariana Kelly sent a letter on May 8, 2017 (see attached below) to Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh asking him to consider legal action against the FAA regarding recent DCA flight path changes.

The Maryland District 16 Team has been working with local and federal officials on the severe airplane noise heard by constituents under new flight paths. Our skies and airplanes are federally regulated, but we have been trying to brainstorm ways to help from the state level. The Maryland Aviation Administration has communicated the concern to the Maryland members of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, which oversees National and Dulles Airports.  We have thanked the Governor for this but also asked him to raise the issue with our regional and federal partners during his conversations with them..

Attached below are the Letters from the Maryland District 16 Team:
-May 8, 2017 Letter to Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh
-April 20, 2017 Letter to Maryland Governor Lawrence Hogan
-April 10, 2017 Letter to Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett
