Governor Hogan's Letter to the FAA Regarding Flight Path Changes Affecting Maryland Residents

Maryland Governor Lawrence Hogan sent a letter on May 11, 2017 (see attached below) to the FAA asking the FAA to immediately return to the pre-NextGen flight patterns for a period of time while state and local stakeholders are engaged in the process regarding DCA and BWI flight paths.

On August 3, 2017, the FAA provided its response to Governor Hogan's May 11, 2017 letter.
