FAA Eliminates LAZIR B Proposal

The FAA recently announced that it has decided to discontinue its work on the departure procedure from DCA known as LAZIR B, which would have resulted in more airplanes over our neighborhoods.  You can read more about that decision here.  While many consider this decision encouraging, it does not address the noise from the current arrival or departure procedures put in place last year.  In short, there is still a lot of work to do!
