Vancouver, British Columbia (Canada) is infamous for its rainy winters, and the truth is that most other Canadians think we're awfully wimpy because we don't have to deal with much snow. Problem is that when it does snow out there, the stuff is really wet and heavy - it is simply the worst kind of snow to drive in. Told you it was snowing. Don't ever step out in this weather with a beard because the ice in it will make you cry. Every day we dug like Russian dissidents, yet without regret. Painful and tiring as it was, struggling against the elements and then sheltering against them beats the hell out of watching them through the window. Notice the difference in exposure with the UV filter off.
