Albright College is pleased to host the 78th Annual Intercollegiate Student Chemists Convention. The convention will be held on Saturday, April 26 from 8 AM to 3:00 PM.

The convention provides an opportunity for undergraduate students to present their research. Students present in a section with others in their area of research: analytical, biochemistry, inorganic, organic or physical chemistry. Student presentations are followed by lunch, a plenary lecture and the awards ceremony.

Larry Sneddon will deliver this year's plenary lecture. Sneddon is the Blanchard Professor of Chemistry at the University of Pennsylvania.

  • Wednesday, April 16 by noon: Abstract Submission
  • Wednesday, April 16 by noon: Registration¬†without an extra cost

  • Wednesday, April 23 by 11 PM: Optional PowerPoint file submission.
Call for judges: Faculty judges in each of the five areas of chemistry are vital for the success of the convention. Please e-mail Pam Artz, Professor of Chemistry at Albright College, at if you are willing to judge in a particular area. Please include ISCC in the subject line of your e-mail.
