WILF 2013

The Tenth International Workshop on Fuzzy Logic and Applications (WILF 2013) covers all topics in theoretical, experimental and application areas of fuzzy sets and systems, with the aim of bringing together researchers from academia and industry to report on the latest advances in their fields of interest.

A major objective of WILF 2013 in the present rich data era is the presentation of the consolidated results and of potential applications of fuzzy sets and fuzzy systems to the analysis of high dimensional data and of complex networks. To approach these difficult tasks, fuzzy techniques are often integrated with other Computational Intelligence methods, such as neural networks and evolutionary algorithms, as well as with the use of knowledge resources such as ontologies, thus giving rise to powerful computational approaches addressing data analysis issues in emergent relevant areas like bioinformatics, ambient assisted living, image analysis, activity analysis and recognition, and emotional computing.
