Welcome to the 2013 Alaska Math and Science Conference information and web site.
We are excited to host this biennial event in Anchorage, Alaska, at East High School, October 18 - 20, 2013
This event is jointly sponsored by the Alaska Council of Teachers of Mathematics and the Alaska Science Teachers Association.
The conference theme is "Changing Climates: Tracking Trends" and our primary meeting venue is East High School.
Three thematic strands for conference sessions will be available:
1 - Tracking Trends in the Science & Math Classrooms
2 - Tracking Trends in Research & Climate Change
3 - Tracking Trends in Professional Development

There will be bus transportation to and from East High School and the conference hotels during the day. Also transportation will be provided to the evening events from the hotels and/or EHS for the Friday “Meet and Greet” and for all the field trips from East High School.
