Ridge View High is one of ten schools participating in the SCDE Digital Pilot Program which provides students with digital textbooks and netbooks. Ridge View is also piloting the use of Kindles in our "Reading as a Writer" class. Come to this session to find out what we have learned.

Everyone reads! Students, faculty, and staff were each given a book through the JI Reads program. After reading the selection, everyone will share their experience on the school-wide JI Reads day with speakers, activities, and discussions. Hear about our selection/distribution process, as well as the activities and speakers featured in the program.

Learn how to construct a low-cost interactive whiteboard utilizing a Wii remote control, Bluetooth, and infrared light pen.  In addition, you will learn about several free resources that can be used with any commercial or homemade whiteboard.  These resources include free software, online interactive games, and lesson-sharing websites. This Session will be Vodcast on the SCASL TeacherTube Channel.
