I've heard that this event is going to be an "unconference". What the heck does that mean?
At an unconference, session topics are decided upon at the event, by the attendees themselves. Learn more »
We've invited a mix of about 80 mappers and modelers from around the world. Attendees will be power users of Google tools like Map Maker, Building Maker and SketchUp.
Can anyone attend the Summit?
Only people to whom we've extended personal invitations may attend the Summit.
Where is the Summit being held?
All sessions will take place at Google's office in Zurich, Switzerland.
When should attendees arrive?
Officially, this is a two-day event. For those who are in Zurich on the day before the Summit begins, there will be optional social activities. If you'd like to take part in these activities, you should plan to arrive in Zurich no later than Sunday morning, March 21st. If you can, participation in these activities is highly encouraged.
