361/365 I'ts that time of year again.
It is that time of year again, New years eve and my infamous resolution list. I don't know why, but every year I kinda make resolutions, I don't share them with people, I create a file and usually loose it pretty quick. This year I decided to put that list here, why?, because I can I guess. BTW sorry about the pic. I have a horrible headache, I still have no tripod and I think my camera might be slightly damaged. If you recall I said I tipped my camera over a few weeks ago, well I have noticed since then that my autofocus isn't working very well so I am slightly frustraited but I will get over it. So here we go Resolutions. Loose weight (I always start with this one. I lost a good amount over the summer and I felt great and looked great but the pounds are creeping back on me. I was happy where I was this summer and I want to get back there and stay there. I know now it is possible, I just want to stay there.) Get a new Job (I don't know doing what, but I determined I don't want a job where I hurt when I get home and I want a job when I know when I will get home. People say you should leave work at work, I do, but work controls my life and I don't really want that anymore. If I could find something where I didn't hurt, had predictable hours, and it didn't control my life, while paying the bills I might be happier.) Get a new computer (this one might happen, I have a good chunk of money saved up and I should be able to get one in feb or march "hopefully, if all goes to plan".) Find something to be a part of. (that sounds weird, but I want to be part of a group or something. Lets face it, I have no friends in real life, and I would like to have some. I would like to get invoved in something, I would really like to get involved in some sort of photo club or something like that, so I could learn more on photography and meet new people who like what I like.) Learn more about photography. I took BW photography in college, that is it. everything else I know about photography is through trial and error which is a long frustraiting battle. I want to learn stuff, how to "properly" light subjects, use things like flash, or strobes. I would love to take pictures of people other than myself, and I just want to be confident with my abilities.) Stop getting so damn pissed off all the time. ( really it isn't funny anymore. If you knew me I take everything seriously, and when you take everything seriously and encounter failiure, frustraition ensues, then rage, stuff gets broken and that isn't good. I need to be more easy going and I need a stress relief. I tell you, if I didn't live in a condo I would so get a drum set so I could bang on those for stress relief :) No more apologies (I say I am sorry so much that it is meaningless now. I worry about what others think, will say, I worry that I am doing things wrong or that I am upsetting people. I want to do things, that I want to do, and not have to appologize for wanting to. if I ever figure out what I want to do.) Stop wasting my time. Tonight I have off from work and I am doing absolutely nothing,... nothing. I am 28, I have no children, no real huge responsabilities tonight so why can't I do something. I waste my time sitting around doing nothing and I want to stop that. I want to go places, be it the beach, the mountains to see a show, or a museum, to go to a bar, or somewhere where people are, I should just go.) No more excuses (I have an excuse for everything, it is something I am good at. but making an excuse doens't change things it just gives reason when reason isn't really needed to begin with. I just need to do things and not make an excuse as to why I can't) Communicate. I don't speak up for myself, and I need to communicate better with people around me. Be happy (this one is self explanitory:) I don't think this will all happen this year. sometimes it is nice to just write down what you would change if you could, so I did. I will get the computer though damn it, Yes I will. p.s. CRAP, this would have made a good photo theme wouldn't it. Doh.
