It has been 2 1/2 weeks since we have been keeping the cats inside in a last ditch attempt to get Poppy to loose weight. I was a bit worried that now they are just in the house all the time that they wouldn't be getting enough exercise. Inman is not too bad because he runs round like a crazy thing anyway, but Poppy is lazy, even when you play with her she just lies on he back and doesn't bother getting the toys if they are further away than her paws can reach! I went to Pets at Home with Sarah on Sunday and decided to try out this Slim-Cat ball. It is basically just a plastic ball with holes in it. You fill it with cat biscuits and the cat is supposed to chase the ball round eating the food as it comes out of it. I guess it is a good idea in theory, however Poppy just goes around pushing it with her nose at a snails pace! Oh well, at least it has slowed her eating down, that has got to be better than nothing!
