St George's Day

posted 16 May 2017, 04:37 by 1st Radlett Scouts

Dear All

I hope you have had an enjoyable Easter break, this weekend is St Georges Day (23 April) and along with all Scouts in the country we will be celebrating this day with a District event. Instead of the usual parade along the streets of the district and church service this year we will be having an activity afternoon at Well End and all Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and their parents are invited to do a variety of activities.

The afternoon will start with a small parade from the parking area to the flagpole for some presentation of awards and badges, before a short camp fire and then the activities. Refreshments will be available for a donation.

We will be meeting at Well End Activity Centre at 2.50pm ready to start at 3pm and the afternoon finishes at 5pm.

As sections are not meeting this week, it would be useful to have an idea of numbers, so if you are attending please can you reply to this email with numbers of children and adults attending.

Thank you, hoping to see many of you on Sunday

Group Scout Leader, 1st Radlett
