Celebration Evening

Dear All
Thank you to the leaders who helped at the St Georges Day event yesterday and it was nice to see all of those who came and enjoyed the afternoon. But it was the case that we had a small turnout from our group, which we were disappointed with since this is one of the dates we ask all members to attend. The leaders are all volunteers and give up their time to run events for your children and it is disheartening that all the hard work is only appreciated by a few.
This Wednesday (26th April) we have our Celebration Evening when all Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and their parents/carers and siblings are invited to an entertaining evening to celebrate Scouting in Radlett over the last year. We expect to see most of you there for a fun evening with refreshments and an opportunity to find out more about the Scout Group. The event is at Kent Lodge from 6-7:30pm incorporating a short AGM and marking 50 years of Kent Lodge. There will fun games and activities for the Beavers and Cubs led by the Scouts.  As last year there will be small charges for some games and the refreshments, including a small barbecue and wine or soft drinks, as a fundraising opportunity. There will also be a cake sale, so please do bring a cake for the sale. The leaders will be present but will be unable to supervise all children.
