Welcome to the 1st Benoni Sea Scout Group - Established 1909

Why Join Us!

The 1st Benoni Sea Scout Group is a mixed Cubs, Scouts & Rover Group for Boys and Girls who enjoy regular Scouting activities as well as Water activities.

Scouting is more relevant now than ever. In an age where parents are wary about letting their children out on their own, and young people are staying home spending  hours in front of the TV, on computer games or online. Scouting has the alternative.

At 1st Benoni Sea Scout Group we do some pretty amazing and fun things in Scouting, but for us, this is a way of life and not just an expedition. Our Scouts grow in confidence by trying out new skills and stretching themselves. When a young scout has just finished their first Gig Adventure or played their first game of Canoe Polo – THAT’S ADVENTURE!

At 1st Benoni Sea Scout Group you will find a team of friendly, dedicated and motivated leaders.
