Start of Assembly

Freshly painted parts going back together 

 All suspension rubber was replaced with polyurethane bushings from Energy Suspension. The rod ends, ball joints, sway bars, and center link were all replaced and the manual steering gear was swapped for in favor of a high ratio power steering gear.  






The original 3.08 gear ratio was retained in the 12 bolt because I was planning to use a Richmond 5 speed transmission. That would effectively make for a 4.56 first gear ratio. An Eaton posi was chosen to get the power to the pavement.
