Final Assembly

It's starting to look like a car!

I had to roll the wheel well flanges to clear the 295/65-15's. I could have used a little more back spacing on the wheels but it wasn't available on the Cragar S/S Super Sports.

The bumper brackets and the back of both bumpers were sandblasted and painted black. Then the front end could be assembled along with the grille and headlights. The windshield and side glass are also in. I need to hold off on the weatherstripping until the door jams are painted.

At this point it was streetable which put a serious dent in progress for the rest of the summer. After eight years of work, the lure of the street is irresistible. It's a lot more fun terrorizing the neighborhood before the weather goes to hell.
