Used Haro Bmx Bikes
- Bicycle motocross or BMX refers to the sport in which the main goal is extreme racing on bicycles in motocross style on tracks with inline start and expressive obstacles, and it is also the term that refers to the bicycle itself that is designed for dirt and motocross cycling.
- Haro is a town and municipality in the northwest of La Rioja province in northern Spain. It is known for its fine red wine and every year the Haro Wine Festival is held where locals hold a wine battle.
- (Haros) (hair-ohs): an aquatic creature that both eats and moves around by swallowing the mineral water and sand mixture it inhabits and expelling it forcibly out the back end after absorbing the nutrients of the decayed leaves that fall from the forest above.
- (in Luis Mendez de Haro (minister of Spain))
Been holding this photo for a while and it doesn't look like it's getting used so I'm gonna throw it up here. Strobist: Quantum T2 to the left and right on 1/8 power. Sunpak 444d on 1/2 power behind electrical box. For anyone who thinks I'm not shooting a lot anymore it is actually the complete opposite. I've been so productive over the past few months and am only going to start getting more busy hopefully. About a month ago I went on the Haro Bikes road trip up to San Francisco. The rain prevented us from riding other than a couple indoor parks for the most part but I still had a great time with Dennis Enarson, Allan Cooke, Ryan Nyquist, Seth Klinger, Ronnie Napolitan, and Marcus Tooker. Good times for sure. I've been doing a lot of shooting down in San Diego with basically everyone that lives down there and stayed down at Enarson's house to shoot with some dudes last weekend. Hopefully I'm going up to LA this weekend to shoot some stuff with the Subrosa crew while they are filming the rest of GUTI as well. Brad Simms and David Grant are staying at my house a couple days to shoot as well. What I'm trying to say is, SHOOTING HAS TAKEN OVER MY LIFE, and I'm loving it right now. I just haven't thought of posting much on here but I will when I get a chance and have photos I'm into that aren't getting used for anything. BOOM.
SKYWAY TUFF WHEELS Logo Sticker on HARO Series 1B BMX number plate
This was my fun plate. After high school I was off to college and still riding so I needed a plate on my bike. All my BMX number plates minus a couple of the original Haro plates. These where used on my REDLINE PL-20 and REDLINE PL-24. I raced locally at Oak Mountain State BMX Park and Cascade Park in and around Birminham, Alabama during the early '80's. I started work at Alabama Cycles and went on to open my own shop [Rodney's BMX] during this time.
