This was my first bicycle helmet. My parents bought this for me while we were on vacation on Mount Desert Island, Maine when I was just getting into bicycling. I took this picture of it because it is now old and no longer safe and needs to be thrown away but I didn't want to forget it as it was a major piece of my life for many years. I do own, somewhere, a replacement helmet that I got as an adult.
