New Dahon Espresso 18" (Medium) Folding Bike - 26" Wheels
The Espresso is the bike for urban adventures: to the park on a sunny weekend; down the street for a lazy Sunday brunch; or to the market for some fresh penne, organic tomatoes, and a bottle of wine. The ergonomic saddle, BioLogic grips, and upright riding geometry make cruising around town fun and comfortable. Upgrades to the new 2010 Espresso include Schwalbe Apple 2.0 Tires and new Dahon Axis Stem -- With over 120 mm of height adjustment, and over 85 mm of reach adjustment, the revolutionary Dahon Axis stem accommodates riders of just about any size, whether they prefer a comfortable upright riding position or an aggressive performance riding position. But even more exciting is the new stem storage system that lets riders easily rotate the stem 90 degrees and out of the way for storage or transport. That means easy convenient folding for Dahon full-size bikes. The Espresso folds in seconds to stash away easily in a car trunk, your apartment, or on the bus. (Folded Size: 13.3" x 36.7" x 30.8") Upright and comfortable riding position. Folds in less than five seconds so you can take it anywhere. Fold it and store it in your trunk so you save the cost and hassle of a car rack. Shimano 21 speed drivetrain. ***THE CURRENT 2010 MODEL DOES NOT INCLUDE SEAT POST PUMP***80% (14)
Low-cost Dahon and Downtube folding bicycles. With high gas prices and 14 Caltrain cars out of service, commuters are getting squeezed. Folding bike sales are up! I walked into Warm Planet Bikes for a minor repair and there was a pile of Dahon and Bike Friday boxes in the corner. Ted said they're selling them about as fast as they can be assembled. They'd sold two of these small-wheeled Dahons earlier that day (even without the nifty "sage" color of last year's model), and were in the process of selling the larger Dahon "espresso" while I was taking this photo. The full-suspension black Downtube on the right side of this photo was sold shortly after I took this photo.2009 dahon espresso

New Dahon Jack Be nimble... be quick... be Jack! The Jack is designed to go at any pace you choose and to roll over anything in its path. Forget leaving your urban machine in that communal bike garage and getting nicked and scratched; keep it inside and safe... with you. That's how it should be, right? Jack is designed around a beefy 7005 aluminum frame and phat Schwalbe Big Apple tires. The Jack has seven nicely-spaced speeds to keep things simple, but that's enough gears for most anything you're likely to encounter in the city. What kind of bike is this? It's a human powered urban machine, Jack.
