Saris Bones 3 on Sienna Review
Saris Bones 3 on Sienna Review
Updated on 8/01/2011 The Saris Bones 3 is a good quality product. It can carry up to 3 bikes. Due to the position of the vertical buckle, it is often difficult to put on a smaller frame kid's bicycle. Since the load limit is 105lb, I hesitate to mount 3 bikes on it. Be prepare to see some scratches on the bumper. I check the straps and tighten them when I need some gas or a washroom break. I could not mount 3 mountain bikes on this rack. The rear wheel of the first bike was in the way of the second bike's handle bar. Maybe you can mount 3 road bikes. I have no problems with it so far after used it on 6 camping trips and driven over 2,000km.

30-30 road coverage after 10 days
I need to review the GPS against this as there are several roads not showing as covered here. In a couple of weeks time I'll be adding some southern parish roads to the tracking map. And on Saturday, Jersey might make a guest appearance......

Takara Kabuto Single Speed Road Bike (57cm Frame)
The Kabuto is all about keeping things simple and getting it done without breaking the bank. At the heart of the Kabuto you'll find a strong hand crafted steel frame with horizontal dropouts that can handle the abuse of the big city. City riders told us that they didn't need derailleur's so we listened and outfitted the Kabuto with a flip flop bug so you can run it as a fixed gear or in standard freewheel single speed mode without having to worry about adjustments to temperamental components. The 32 hole alloy wheels roll on loud Kenda 700 x 32 tires that are capable of withstanding less than perfect roads. Front and rear alloy side pull brakes round out this spectacular model. Stand over clearance is 33".
