The Old Nursery Room
The Old Nursery Room
I'm taking clues from my most viewed photos, looking for some I can give new life with a little more tweaking. I was mystified as to why this might have been so often viewed; probably some words in the original title. This is the second bedroom in what is now our duplex rental property. We lived upstairs from 1988-1991. This room was the baby nursery for our daughter Emily, now a senior in college! The photo was taken in the midst of a major renovation. We used it on Craig's List, though it was a "before" picture. I thought maybe although taken for utilitarian purposes, the room is cool enough and the natural light so nice that it might stand on its own as a photo of a special time and place. I saturated a lot (note blue light bulbs!) and brought up the brightness too. What say you, my friends? If you think it's nothing special, OK, I didn't expect or intend it to be when I took it!
Sunroom before

Sunroom, in the shade. The landlords put new mini-blinds up on every window in the house before we moved in (and there's a lot of them). Sadly, I'm not really a fan of mni-blinds... I think some sheers would look nice in here. This room is pretty much my last priority, though - so we'll see how long we live here.
