The boiler from the SS Beaver. Located at the Vancouver Maritime Museum. Commissioned by the Hudson's Bay Company and brought to Canada in 1835 the SS Beaver steamship served in many capacities before running aground in 1888. The Maritime Museum is located in the same complex and The H.R. Macmillan Space Centre and the Vancouver Museum.

Every year on Eric's birthday we walk or run to the Pebble Beach at 47th Street and swim out to the sunken boiler. This shot shows the target in the distance, with a seagull resting on it.
