In preparation for my double-down, I waited for a day I: 1) already felt ill - this way I will associate any negative feelings with this meal. 2) experienced physical activity. Today I attended half a cardio class, ran 7.8k, and took pug out for a quick walk. I told my friend Rick my idea, and he was in. Looks like his stomach isn't handling it as well as mine... It's gross. On to the analysis! From what I can tell online the double down is only 490 calories in Canada. I thought this was for 1 serving, and one sandwhich was 2 to 3 servings. I can't confirm this. I can only assume the DD is 490 calories, 28g of fat and 1570 mg of sodium. For the full meal deal. I paired it with poutine (371 calories, 12g fat) and an extra-large Dr. Pepper (780 calories and 209g sugar). Assuming I ate/drank all of this the total is 1641 calories. I didn't. Two servings in the DD is 2131 calories. This shocks me! I thought it would be more. I aim to consume 1600 calories or less per day. I burnt 673 calories on my run. Therefore I COULD consume 2273 calories today. Breakfast was ~200 calories, lunch ~ 300-400 plus a tea ~100 calories. Total I ate today( based on one serving) was 2361 calories. Slightly over my allowed limit. Shocking! Of course, the fat and sodium will kill you. ;)

12 ServingsPrep/Total Time: 25 min.Ingredients 1/4 cup reduced-fat mayonnaise 1/4 cup maple syrup 3 tablespoons white wine vinegar 2 tablespoons minced shallot 2 teaspoons sugar 1/2 cup canola oil 2 packages (5 ounces each) spring mix salad greens 2 medium tart apples, thinly sliced 1 cup dried cherries 1 cup pecan halves 1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion Directions In a small bowl, combine the first five ingredients; whisk in oil.
