  • (Tri-bar) The Penrose triangle, also known as the Penrose tribar, is an impossible object. It was first created by the Swedish artist Oscar Reutersvard in 1934.
  • (Tri-Bar) A flag with three bars or panels as its distinctive field.  The bars may be horizontal (i.e., the Russian flag) or vertical (i.e., the French flag).  Tri-Bar flags are distinguished from tri-color flags in that tri-bar flags may have only two colors.
  • Bicycle handlebar or often bicycle handlebars refers to the steering mechanism for bicycles; the equivalent of a steering wheel.
  • A bicycle or motorcycle
  • (bike) bicycle: ride a bicycle
  • (bike) motorcycle: a motor vehicle with two wheels and a strong frame
  • (bike) bicycle: a wheeled vehicle that has two wheels and is moved by foot pedals

My hybrid has Tri Bars. This is the view from the front looking at the bike. There's so much "crap" on the front of my bike that I need to use a Topeak Extender Bar to mount my flashing strobe light. I also have a Halogen Light mount, a reflector (which I think remains an excellent idea to have), and my very useful Airzound Air Horn, competing for space with the Tri Bars. It kind of works though.

They have the cool toys like saddle mounted bottle holders and the Tri Lab CO2 holders. The guy in front had just passed the woman; he was on his aero bars going about 19 MPH. Triathletes don't usually wear socks, but maybe they do for their training rides. I forgot to check what the shoes are -- don't know if they're tri specific or not.
