This weeks 52 Weeks Theme is "Body" - I was not quite going to expose my body for very good reasons - but thought it might be a good opportunity to document my current personal challenge.... When I came back from Fiji at the end of August I decided that after years of ignoring the gradual increase in weight I had to do something about it..... so now 10 weeks later I have lost 18kgs (40 lbs), and 2 dress sizes. I still have about twice that to go - but I am well on my way and now it is just a matter of time.... I am working out with my fitness trainer 3 times a week, and then doing another 45 mins 2-3 times a week on the X-trainer / bike. The best thing I did was finding an inspirational fitness trainer - he is really challenging me - and getting results out of me that I would never have believed that I am capable of - he is my hero - and I love every minute of my workouts - even though I am hardly able to walk by the end of the hour...all I can say is thank goodness for Voltaren. In this image each of those dumbells weigh 10kgs - I started 10 weeks ago with 3kg dumbells and that was a challenge... The other big change for me is the use of the word "small" instead of "large" - I realised that this morning when I was ordering a "small trim flat white" iso a "large trim flat white"......
