We are pleased to announce that this year's tournament will include 20 highly competitive North American teams.  ALL teams will participate in a meaningful playoff game as their 4th guaranteed game.  After a 3 game preliminary round, teams will be organized into two (2) separate playoff brackets and two (2) separate champions will be crowned, with the winner of the top bracket being awarded Tournament Champion. Read below for a more detailed description of this unique tournament format. All teams are guaranteed four (4) games (maximum six (6)) with period lengths of 12-12-15 (stop time).

Tournament Features
  • 4-game guarantee
  • 16 teams end up in a single elimination playoff bracket so you play until you lose or take home a trophy.
  • 12-12-15 minute periods - no curfew games.
  • All games are played at WNY's premier 4 pad facility, Bill Gray's IcePlex.
  • Premium hotels at deeply discounted rates within minutes of Bill Gray's IcePlex. As a condition of acceptance, ALL teams must stay a minimum of two (2) nights at a tournament approved partner hotel. NO exceptions.
  • USA Hockey Sanctioned Event.
  • Entry fee -$1,350 USD.

Tournament Format
  • Competition will begin Friday morning. Preliminary round play will consist of three (3) games in total, two (2) Friday and one (1) Saturday morning.
  • The playoffs will commence Saturday afternoon.
  • Teams will be seeded in order to balance the competetive level of each division. We will do our best to ensure that no team plays a league or regional rival in the preliminary round.
