TEAM AUTO ARCHITECTS

Team Auto Architects is the All Terrain Vehicle design and fabrication team which participates in an international level ATV competition, BAJA, which tasks the students to design a single seater four wheeled off-road vehicle and tests the vehicle for various dynamic events and is held every year under the banner of SAEINDIA. The team was formed in 2010 and since then, have fabricated 5 ATV’s and participated in the ATV design contest and brought laurel to the institute.

In 2010, Auto Architects participated for the first time in BAJA SAE INDIA, held at Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh and secured 38th position across India.In 2012 stood 37th among 180 teams.

ACHIEVEMENTS

BAJA SAEINDIA 2020 Achievement

• 1st in Karnataka and 50th AIR in the virtual round of BAJA SAEINDIA, 2019.
• 10th out of 120 teams in the design presentation of BAJA SAEINDIA, 2019 held at Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh.
• 22nd in the back-breaking endurance run of BAJA SAEINDIA, 2019 held at Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh.
• 41st overall including all the static and dynamic event of BAJA SAEINDIA, 2019 held at Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh
• Cleared the virtuals round with 4th Rank in Karnataka state and are ready to emerge as champions in the main event of BAJASAE INDIA 2020 which is to be held in the month of January.

The team consists of young and enthusiastic engineers passionate about automobile engineering working under the guidance of the Head of Department, Mechanical Engineering and the faculty advisors.
