Singing River Behavior Associates
SRBA's Mission
The mission of SRBA is to use the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to provide behavior therapy, consultative, and support services for children and adolescents with behavioral, social, and learning challenges. We strive to provide our clients with individualized, evidence-based, comprehensive, and compassionate intervention in order to maximize each client’s personal potential.
We also strive to provide a work environment that is safe, friendly, and fun; one where every employee counts, and has opportunities to grow professionally.
SRBA's Specialities
ABA is the science of human behavior. It seeks to understand and intervene upon the stimuli that elicit, increase, decrease, and/or maintain an individual’s behaviors. Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) collect data on these stimuli, and data related to an individual’s strengths and weaknesses. All data are then reviewed and used to create and implement a comprehensive, individualized treatment plan. As intervention progresses, behavior analysts continuously monitor all data so that treatment effectiveness can be evaluated. This also allows the behavior analyst to modify the treatment plan as needed in order to maximize its benefit. The primary goal of a behavior analyst is to utilize behavioral contingencies to help his/her clients learn more functional skills that can replace undesirable behaviors and improve quality of life.
