SFA Certification
What is the SFA certification?
SFA's FinTech certification distinguishes a FinTech company from others in the industry by its legitimating its FinTech status and potential.
This certificate is recognised by the MAS and is a benchmark qualification for support from future packages and grants. Certified companies attain the privilege to use SFA’s branding to officialise their status and elevate their reputation.
The certification could also be used as a requirement for other application processes and projects.
Upon successful review and approval from the certification team, the company will receive an e-certificate from SFA.
Key Criteria for qualification
The company must be registered and operating in Singapore
The company should have existing Singaporean users
The company must provide a technology solution for the financial sector as its core business
The company should have a potential to disrupt the financial services industry
The company must have a working product that has been released or an MVP ready for release
The product should enough value for people to use or buy
It should be fully tested, demonstrate enough benefits and have features to retain users
