Quick About Me

I attended school in Thousand Oaks including Weathersfield Elementary, Los Cerritos Middle School and Thousand Oaks High School. I went to college at the University of Iowa, UC Santa Barbara, and UC Irvine where I earned my BA in English with a minor in film studies. I went back to school at Cal State San Bernardino to earn my teaching credential and have continued to study technology ever since. I began teaching at Hillside in 1999 and soon added a supplemental credential for technology. I began building and maintaining the school website, providing teacher tech training and tech support. In 2018, I went back to school for a few more classes to receive my Career Technical Education (CTE) credential in Information and Communication Technology.
