Short description of the project
Through collaboration between partners during the project process, students will learn what a water footprint is, the types of water footprints, how the depletion of water resources in the world is impacting climate change and what they can do to protect water resources around the world. Students and teachers from different countries will have the opportunity to collaborate during the project process.
Erasmus+ mobilities will also take place during the project
Objectives
To learn about what a "water footprint" is.
Learning to be conscious in daily water consumption.
Generating ideas to protect water resources in the world.
To realize the relationship between the decrease in water resources in the world and climate change.
To increase the awareness of nature conservation in students.
To improve foreign language skills (English).
To develop ICT skills.
Support the use of Web2.0 tools.
Developing creativity and artistic skills
To improve presentation skills with collaborative work.
To encourage students' self-confidence and cooperation.
Expected results
As expected results and impact, the benefits of the experience should be grouped at different levels:
Students:
Activities and workshops might make them reflect on the importance of water resources and acquire more sustainable habits.
Knowing about the cultural heritage of other European countries will strengthen their feelings as European citizens, and their interest to know more about Europe.
Linguistic English skills will be improved.
Staff:
Teachers from different subjects and countries working cooperatively will improve our capacity for teamwork as well as our motivation.
Sharing good practices will improve our daily teaching practices, applying new methodologies and didactic resources.
The experience will boost new proposals for interaction and cooperation in the future
