Shawnee County Fire District #1 receives donation of emergency drinking water
Access to clean drinking water is critical for keeping firefighters safe, healthy, and performing at their best, especially during wildfires and extended responses in extreme heat. We’re grateful to AnheuserBusch and the National Volunteer Fire Council for donating emergency drinking water to help support our crew this summer, and to Strathman Sales for delivering it to our station! This donation is part of AnheuserBusch’s Emergency Drinking Water for Wildland Firefighters program, which provides clean drinking water to volunteer departments during wildfire season.
