By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please discontinue use of the App.
If you are using the App on behalf of a company, organization, or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not:
Copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or sublicense the App;
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App;
Use the App for any unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorized purpose;
Interfere with or disrupt the App’s functionality or security.
To improve the App and provide a better user experience, we may collect limited technical and usage information, including:
Device model and operating system version;
Crash reports and diagnostic information;
Anonymous interaction data related to food tracking and expiry reminder features.
All collected information is anonymized and used solely for:
Improving performance and stability;
Fixing bugs and technical issues;
Enhancing user experience and app functionality.

BeforeExpire is designed to help users manage food expiration dates and reduce food waste.
The App includes features such as:
Red items: expiring within 2 days;
Yellow items: expiring within the current week;
Grey items: not expiring soon.
Notifications can be scheduled:
1 day before expiration;
3 days before expiration;
7 days before expiration.
Built-in categories include:
Dairy
Produce
Meat & Seafood
Frozen
Pantry
Beverages
Each category includes default shelf-life settings.
Users can:
Add items by name, category, quantity, and expiration date;
Scan barcodes for faster entry;
Edit or remove items at any time.
Swipe to mark items as used;
Swipe to delete items;
View previously used items in a separate history section.
Users may create personalized categories with:
Custom names;
Custom icons;
Default shelf-life settings.
Certain features of the App may require a subscription or in-app purchase.
Available subscription options include:
Weekly subscription with a 3-day free trial;
Yearly subscription plan.
Payments are processed securely through Apple’s In-App Purchase system.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Subscription management and cancellation can be completed through your Apple ID account settings.
We may periodically release updates, enhancements, bug fixes, or new features.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App following any update or modification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
The App is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
Food expiration dates, shelf-life estimates, and reminders are provided for informational purposes only and should not be considered professional food safety advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BeforeExpire and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from:
Use of the App;
Inability to use the App;
Reliance on expiration reminders or shelf-life suggestions;
Data loss or service interruptions.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App at our discretion if:
These Terms are violated;
Fraudulent, harmful, or illegal activity is detected;
Continued access may pose risks to the App, its users, or its services.
These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with applicable local laws.
Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the use of the App shall be resolved in the courts and jurisdictions authorized under applicable law.
