Welcome to MoodKeeper! These Terms of Use ("Terms"), together with our Privacy Policy, define the rules for accessing and using the app. Please read them carefully before continuing.
Agreement to Terms
By using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not accept them, please discontinue use. If you are using the app on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
1. License to Use
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:
* Copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the app
* Use the app for unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorized activities
2. Data Collection and Use
We may collect limited technical and usage data, including:
* Device model, operating system version, and diagnostic information
* Anonymous interaction data related to mood logging and tracking features
All collected data is anonymized and used solely to improve performance, stability, and user experience.
3. App Functionality
MoodKeeper is designed to help you track your emotions and build self-awareness through daily check-ins by:
* Logging your mood using five emoji states — Happy, Good, Neutral, Sad, or Stressed — or your own custom states
* Adding short reflection notes to capture what shaped your mood on a given day
* Labeling entries with context tags such as Work, Family, Health, or Sleep
* Reviewing mood distribution, streaks, a calendar heatmap, and best days to identify emotional patterns
* Protecting your journal with Face ID or Touch ID biometric lock
MoodKeeper is a personal journaling tool and is not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, or provide clinical guidance on any mental health condition.
4. Subscription & Payments
Some features may require a subscription or in-app purchase.
* MoodKeeper offers a weekly plan and a yearly plan for full access to all features
* Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before renewal
* Payments are processed securely through Apple's in-app purchase system
5. Updates
We may release updates to improve features, enhance performance, or fix issues. Continued use of the app after updates indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.
6. Limitation of Liability
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for damages or losses resulting from the use or inability to use the app.
7. Termination
Access may be suspended or terminated if these Terms are violated or if harmful, fraudulent, or illegal behavior is detected.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable local laws. Any disputes will be resolved under the appropriate jurisdiction.
